Are you looking for October Half-Term Kids Activities in your area? Club Hub has compiled a selection of highly recommended October Half Term Kids Activities from throughout the UK. There is a plethora of ideas and enjoyable activities available.

London transport museum

The London Transport Museum is the world's finest museum of urban transportation and an award-winning family day out. Families will be able to experience heritage vehicles, view the world-famous poster collection, and enjoy a vast selection of the very best artefacts from the Museum's remarkable collection dating back 220 years.

Families may learn about green transportation technologies and how public transportation has influenced London's environment during the October half-term, which runs from Saturday, October 23 to Sunday, October 31. There is a lot to learn about anything from the early days of steam power to the engineering ingenuity that powers contemporary "green" buses. Kids can participate in interactive STEM-inspired activities and meet real-world engineers, celebrate exploring the Capital on two wheels during a drop-in interactive cycling display, or participate in a collaborative art installation to learn about the wildlife that lives in our city parks, railway tracks, and green spaces. Little ones may also participate in daily storytelling sessions to learn about modest adjustments we can all do to be more environmentally friendly.

The London Transport Museum is free for children. Adult tickets are £18.50 and include free return daytime access for a year. Timed admission tickets must be reserved in advance online. Daily activities will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 16:00 p.m. The Museum's website has the most up-to-date information about coronavirus protection precautions.

The events are part of the Climate Crossroads programme at the London Transport Museum. This programme, sponsored by Mott MacDonald and Cubic Transportation Systems, aims to pique people's interest in shaping a greener future. A perfect day out for childcare Solihull
